How Customers Earn Points
When a customer completes a booking, they earn loyalty points based on the transaction value. The system automatically calculates points when you mark an inquiry as "Booked" and enter the commission amount.
Points are tied to your profitability, ensuring the reward system is sustainable for your business while still being attractive to customers.
Notifying Customers
After a booking is complete:
- Go to the Reward tab
- Find the customer's booking
- Click "Send Reward SMS"
- The message opens in your SMS app (or sends automatically on Pro)
"Hi Maria! ๐ You earned 500 points from your booking with ADJC Travel. Total Points: 500. You can now redeem up to P500 OFF on your next booking! Thank you!"
Redemption Rules
| Rule | Details |
|---|---|
| Minimum to redeem | 500 points |
| Redemption type | Full redemption only (all points used at once) |
| Value | 1 point = P1 discount |
| Expiration | 6 months from earning date |
We use full redemption (all-or-nothing) to keep the system simple and create a clear incentive. Customers are motivated to book again before points expire, and there's no confusion about partial balances.
Processing Redemptions
When a customer wants to redeem their points:
- Go to the Redeem tab
- Find the customer (sorted by unredeemed first)
- Verify their points and expiration date
- Apply the discount to their new booking
- Click "Send Redeem SMS" to confirm
"Hi Maria! ๐ Congratulations! You've redeemed P500 OFF! New Balance: 0 pts. Enjoy your discounted booking with ADJC Travel!"
Points Expiration
Points expire 6 months after they're earned. This creates urgency for customers to book again while the points are still valid.
Expiration Reminders (Pro/Team)
Pro and Team plans include automatic expiration reminders:
- 4 months before expiration
- 3 months before expiration
- 2 months before expiration
- 1 month before expiration
These reminders significantly increase redemption rates - and more importantly, bring customers back for another booking!
When a customer's points are about to expire, call them personally with travel suggestions. The urgency of expiring points combined with a great offer often closes the deal.
Tracking Points
You can see a customer's point balance in several places:
- Reward tab - Shows points earned per transaction
- Redeem tab - Shows total points and expiration
- Customer details - Full points history

Making Points Work for Your Business
The key to a successful loyalty program is consistency. Every customer should:
- Know they earned points (send the reward SMS!)
- Understand the value (1 point = P1)
- Feel the urgency (6-month expiration)
- Get reminded (expiration alerts)
